Everyday I thank the lord
For the blessings of my life
All the power god gave me
To go on living
I'm still searching for the girlfriend
Who will come and be my wife
To each other we'll be respectful
And forgiving
I still have my old family
But I don't yet have a new one
Many old friends are gone
But new ones have come
Just a singer lookin' for a band
I always wanted to get into one
I'm the guitar man and the entertainer
Travelin' to the rhythm of different strums
Now I must admit my life's been interesting but not easy
Still I try to enjoy it and have some laughs and fun
As we gather to sit around the table
Each of us should be willing and able
To tell stories about our days of our lives that are far from done
For the sun and rain the grass and grain
And the grace of the apple seed
Before any meal we sing the praise we feel
When there are hungry mouths to feed
The food is great
The service is good
We earn our riches by thrift not by greed
I should cherish my church and home
Be true to my work and school
Try to make my dreams happen
To get the job done I count on myself
I learn from all of the mistakes I make
And follow all the rules
It takes a big strong powerful man to ask for help
Although my life is wonderful
Sometimes it gets me down
Do to the everyday problems that plague us all
Changes and choices can be beautiful
Challenges are all around
They can either be people, places and things great
Or actions small
Now I must admit my life's been interesting but not easy
Still I try to enjoy it and have some laughs and fun
As we gather to sit around the table
Each of us should be willing and able
To tell stories about our days in our lives that are far from done
For the sun and rain the grass and grain
And the grace of the apple seed
Before any meal we sing the praise we feel
When there are hungry mouths to feed
The food is great
The service is good
We save our riches by thrift never by greed

Ministers of Faith
05:59
|
|||
I feel the spirit moving through and opening up my heart
I pray to the lord please let the living water give my life a start
For I'm a Christian man
Jesus is my best friend
The bible says he'll return when this world ends
To the gospel and of ministers of faith
We go to mass in church and sing hymns of glory and praise
The preachers lift their hands and the choir's voices raise
We kneel and bow in prayer
Our service to god we share
Under his reign of love and care
In the sacred world with ministers of faith
The bread and wine are Jesus body and blood
He will be with us when we pass through fires and floods
He's ringing heaven's bells
Casting heroic spells
Throwing all the demons and lost souls into the burning hell
With the wicked foes of ministers of faith
Ooh sing hallelujah ooh
Ooh shout hallelujah ooh
Ahh-haaah-ah-haaaa-ahhhh!
-whistle-
The devil sends his dragons to Bethlehem, the little town
King David's knights fight to slay them and the dungeons and castles go tumbling down
Swinging magic swords at will
The beasts take only one hit to kill
Satan and his son Lucifers' evil powers are weaker still
Then the forces of good in ministers of faith
An old sick priest woke up this morning walked out and then he saw
A vision of an angel appeared to show the way to heaven's door
He was good throughout his life
Saved from criminals’, axes, claw hammers and knives
He shall die and live again free of strife
In the eternal parish for ministers of faith
Ministers of faith
Ministers of faith
Ooh sing hallelujah ooh
Ooh shout hallelujah ooh
Ahh-haaah-ah-haaaa-ahhhh!
-whistle-
Ahh-haaah-ah-haaaa-ahhhh!
-whistle-
Ministers of faith
Ministers of faith

Rockin' on the Railroad
02:38
|
|||
Chuggin' right along on the iron track
My baby and I don't know when we'll be back
Listen to the conductor and the engineer
Blowin' that whistle so we all can hear
I keep on rockin' on the railroad
It's carryin' a heavy load
You got me rockin' on the railroad
Just watch this train explode
I caught a ride heading for the east coast
Giving myself the thrill I love the most
The stack puffs smoke
The engine goes choo-choo
This is the life
Trackin' with you
I keep on rockin' on the railroad
It's carryin' a heavy load
You got me rockin' on the railroad
Just watch this train explode
Passing through Maine I hear the captain's horn blow
From New Hampshire to Vermont 'round and 'round the wheels go
Sittin' by a window the views are nice
I've been rockin' on the railroad in paradise
Today and tonight
I keep on rockin' on the railroad
It's carryin' a heavy load
You got me rockin' on the railroad
Just watch this train explode
I keep on rockin' on the railroad
It's carryin' a heavy load
You got me rockin' on the railroad
Just watch this train explode
Rockin' on
Rockin'

When the rain falls outside my window it drives me crazy
If the rain falls through a hole in my roof it will make me drown
When the rain falls in the darkness it makes me lazy
When the rain falls
Quite often it brings me down
I have some music toys and games that I could share and play with you
I have all day and night to be here and there to stay with you
I have a dance and a party that I could throw for you
I have some pictures that I could paint and draw for you
When the rain falls outside my window it drives me crazy
If the rain falls through a hole in my roof it will make me drown
When the rain falls in the darkness it makes me lazy
When the rain falls
Quite often it brings me down
I have some breaths and steps that I could take with you
I have some moves and grooves that I could make with you
When the rain falls outside my window it drives me crazy
If the rain falls through a hole in my roof it will make me drown
When the rain falls in the darkness it makes me lazy
When the rain falls
Quite often it brings me down
When the rain falls
Most of the time it brings me down
When the rain falls
It usually brings me down

Oklahoma, Montana
Horses of black, white and brown
New Mexico, Colorado
The sheriffs guard their towns
See the people
Feel the splendor and spirit
Of the American west
There's nothing in the world you've ever seen like the land I love the best
The heart of country and western is beating like an Indian drum
I hear the words howdy handsome cowboy rolling off every pretty cowgirl's tongue
The marshals and outlaws fought with guns but the heart of country and western
Is still beating like an Indian drum
Arizona, Nevada
Gamblers and 49'ers
Kansas, Texas
Great chiefs and gold miners
Hear the stories
Listen to the legends
Of the old Wild West
There's nothing in the world you've ever heard like the tales I love the best
The heart of country and western is beating like an Indian drum
I hear the words howdy good-looking stranger rolling off every cute cowgirl's tongue
The marshals and outlaws fought with guns but the heart of country and western
Is still beating like an Indian drum
The heart of country and western
Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers, Willie Nelson
Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, Dolly Parton
The heart of country and western
It's only country and western but I like it
Long live country and western
Country and western ain't noise pollution
The heart of country and western

Christmas Thru My Eyes
02:22
|
|||
You're acting like a real grinch or scrooge
When you should be of good cheer
No gift is too small or huge
For this wonderful time of the year
Stars are gonna twinkle and shine
Lights are gonna sparkle and glow
Happy holidays are yours and mine
All around the holly, ivy and snow
Icicles and mistletoe
Out in the parks and streets the kids are caroling
Singing baby Jesus name up to the skies
Let's have a celebration of special times
And you can see Christmas through my eyes
At Santa's house in the cold North Pole
The elves are making toys
Deep down inside our hearts and minds
Are full of happiness, love and joy
The jingle bells on Santa's sleigh
Are ringing loud and clear
Old Saint Nick is on his way
He riding his flying reindeer
Christmas time is here
Jumping down the chimneys he fills the stockings
Every card and present will be a surprise
Join the celebration of special times
And you'll start to see Christmas through my eyes
I want you to see
Christmas through my eyes

We Are Not Alone
03:40
|
|||
Other worlds in other times
Other lands beneath other skies
Unexplained mysteries
Spinning all through the galaxies
Unsolved cases of the final frontier
Cosmic forces shall draw us near
There are more planets that could be called home
In the universe we are not alone
Peeping up through telescopes
Scientists tell us there's still hope
Astronauts take long far trips
Into space aboard shuttles and starships
Seeking out new life forms and cities
Picking up new technology
Listening for messages from E.T.'s phone
In the universe we are not alone
Humans and animals and plants
Species high and low advanced
I want to believe the truth is out there
It's no lie; everyone's supposed to care
And if our time here on this earth
Should ever come to an end
There must be some place else where we can start it all over again
Humans and animals and plants
Species high and low advanced
Under different stars we’ve grown
In the universe we are not alone
Humans and animals and plants
Species high and low advanced
Second chances are still unknown
In the universe we are not alone
Humans and animals and plants
Species high and low advanced
God rules on his holy throne
In the universe we are not alone
We are not alone
We are not alone
We are not alone

If only peace would come now
If only battle and war would stop
Sending the weapons and fanning the flames
Thousands are wounded or dead
Like flies they drop
No one ever gives up
They stay until the fight is won
With the wind in their noses they run
From the sound of a bomb or a cannon or a gun
They scream and they fall down to sacrifice
See how they weep and bleed and collapse and die
Still their mothers cry
If only peace would come now
If only battle and war would end
When rival nations of the world collide
Under fire in the balance
Their governments and countries they defend
In the warrior's code
There's no retreat or surrender
Their bodies and spirits say never
Passion and fortune and glory burn in their hearts like an ember
In a clash of wills or in the heat of attack
When anger or aggression pulls the trigger
You gotta watch your back
